ABOUT
“Nothing is more important than putting your children in a learning environment that mirrors the same value system that they are taught at home.” - The Herzog Foundation
When I reflect on my life experience so far as a 20-year-old college senior, I can’t help but think about the amount of time I have spent in the classroom. On average, students spend 15,417 hours at school from the time they begin kindergarten to the time they earn a high school degree. Most of my life so far has been devoted to learning in a school. Since preschool, the majority of the past 17 years of my life have been spent in a classroom.
I am Alli Barnard and I am a product of the public school system. I was enrolled in various public schools from preschool - 12th grade and am now a senior at a private Christian college . I have a lot to share about my experience with the public school system and how I was shaped by my time there. Join me as I walk you through the important lessons I’ve learned as I have shifted from a public school setting to a private Christian school setting.

Unfortunately, this international day just so happened to fall smack dab on Resurrection Sunday 2024, arguably the most important Christian holiday. The president of the United States, Joe Biden, made an official statement proclaiming March 31, 2024 as Transgender Day of Visibility.

This is a great example of how the personalized learning aspect of Refine KC is shaping how students view learning.
